Summer Storytelling: Turning the Mundane into a Masterpiece
Isn’t that what TikTok is all about? Exalting the mundane? “Come with me as I get ready in the morning.” This activity taps into that same energy, helping students use their imaginations to reflect on a summer event — and turn even the dullest moment into a Pulitzer Prize–winning story. Students get very creative, and the results are always a joy to read!
There is a short little story at the beginning, this only serves to show teachers the POTENTIAL of this activity. However, it can totally be used a short reading! The paperwork, the room setup, the meetings, the name-learning — and somewhere in the middle of all of that, you still need engaging, ready-to-use activities that actually work. That’s exactly why I created this toolkit.
